Born in the small fishing town in Mersing, Johor, Malaysia, he grew up in a diligent and challenging agricultural environment. In pursuit of higher education and knowledge, he embarked on a journey to Guangzhou, China, where he pursued a degree in International Business and Trade at Jinan University. During his university years, he actively engaged in academic research and knowledge exchange, seizing internships and project collaborations to gain in-depth understanding of the complexities of international trade and logistics.
After graduation, Dato’ Dr. Kenny Lew made the decision to build his career in China. He joined FlyJet International Express Group, a cross-border express line servicing China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, where he immersed himself in logistics operations and supply chain management. During this time, he continuously enhanced his professional knowledge and practical experience through close collaboration with international partners. He demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and business acumen, making significant contributions to the company’s successful growth. However, for Dato’ Dr. Kenny Lew, returning to Malaysia was his mission and dream. In 2005, he made the resolute decision to return home and establish GFAST Group, marking a new chapter in his personal and professional development. He aimed to apply his expertise and experience in international trade and logistics to the local market, injecting fresh vitality and innovation into Malaysia’s economy and logistics industry.
